This role supports the administration for the Boots Benevolent Fund, a charity dedicated to help support current and former team members who find themselves in financial hardship. You will work closely with the Fund Manager and Benevolent Fund team to deliver a caring and supportive experience to applicants. You will be an ambassador for the Fund, raising awareness and access.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage a range of administration and planning activities to support the Benevolent Fund application process.
- Provide tailored guidance and support for applicants through email and telephone queries.
- Liaise with 3rd parties as required via telephone or email (e.g. creditors, TELUS).
- Maintain high standards of records and management information to meet audit requirements.
- Organise and attend Grants Committee meetings, providing insights and recommendations on applications.
- Support the Fund Manager in raising awareness of and promoting the Fund including the organisation and delivery of awareness raising activities.

- Ability to provide exceptional care for applicants and a drive to get things right first time.
- Organised and professional approach, with the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Proactive in seeking solutions and implementing new ways of working.
- Competent in Microsoft Excel and Word.

- An understanding of household financial budgeting.
- Experience in charity work.
