Beauty Operations sits at the heart of Boots UK, driving all Premium Beauty and Self-Selection Cosmetics activity across our stores. We partner with some of the world's biggest beauty brands to deliver exciting in-store experiences, from new launches to full store transformations. It's a fast-paced, hands-on environment where you'll see the tangible results of your work come to life on the shop floor.
In this role, you'll report to the Beauty Operations Manager within the Commercial & Technical Services team, playing a key part in bringing brand plans to reality across our beauty estate.
What you'll be doing
- Managing the end-to-end coordination of beauty brand activity in stores - from planning and kit delivery through to installation and performance review.
- Working cross-functionally with multiple teams to ensure projects land smoothly, on time, and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with Premium Beauty & Self-Selection Cosmetics brands to manage kit availability across multiple projects.
- Coordinate the delivery and implementation of Self-Selection Cosmetics kit for store interventions and new store openings.
- Plan brand locations in-store to optimise brand mix, flow, and performance.
- Collaborate closely with Layout teams to define brand space across stores.
- Work with Trading/Commercial teams on brand agreements and support with escalations where needed.
- Liaise with Design teams to ensure brand kit is signed off in line with project timelines.
- Partner with Property teams to ensure timely and accurate installation of brand kit.
- Work cross-functionally with Supply, Merchandising, and Retail Operations on upcoming projects.
- Track and report on kit status for interventions and new stores, highlighting risks and progress.
- Identify and resolve issues with brand kit installations, producing weekly snagging reports.
- Analyse sales data to assess brand performance and inform future planning.
- Conduct post-project reviews to capture learnings and drive continuous improvement.
- Visit stores to review project delivery and collaborate with Retail teams on upcoming activity.
What you'll need to have (our must-haves)
- Ability to work at pace on numerous projects.
- Effective communicator to different levels of seniority.
- Ability to lead brand and project meetings.
- Ability to prioritise workload and flag risks to manager, with recommendations as to how we could resolve.
It would be great if you also have
- Experience of working with brands (Trading, Merchandising or Supply).
- Experience of working with external manufacturers/installers.
- Experience of sales reporting.
