What you’ll be doing
As part of our dynamic Marketing team, you'll support the delivery of the brand vision and big choices. You provide support to the creation of the innovation masterplan with qualified concepts and big ideas that fuel brand growth. This role contributes to the stimulus for product development, consumer testing, and brand-building activities — ensuring the Generate and Create pillars are always supplied with the right input.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the brand innovation vision in an ever-changing, highly competitive context while keeping a keen eye on the now.
- Spot emerging trends that can quickly be translated into salient propositions that drive brand love.
- Contribute to the creation ideation opportunities that can populate a winning innovation roadmap.
- Support the translation of trends, insights, and brand purpose into clear opportunity spaces.
- Build best in class product benchmarking analysis across all product and brand touchpoints (claims, formulation, packaging, activation etc.).
- Stay constantly inspired through cultural signals, social media, and the latest in product and commercial ideas.
- Contribute and support the translation of emotional consumer insight into functional product truths that are desirable, feasible, and ownable.
- Partner with Portfolio Delivery team to manage cross functional meetings, ensuring projects remain on track, and escalating any risks to relevant stakeholders – OTIF delivery of all touchpoints.
- Support the selection and management of key development partners (fragrance, formulation, packaging, design).
- Uphold standards of creativity, innovation, and technical delivery.
What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)
- Strong strategic foresight and consumer insight application that generates breakthrough ideas that drive Brand Growth.
- Ability to translate macro trends into micro product detail including packaging, formulation, fragrance, taste & design elements.
- Ability to create inspiring briefs and emotionally compelling narratives that create a catalogue of stories.
- Skilful translation of the latest product and commercial ideas into scalable opportunities.
- Experienced in leading suppliers and partners to deliver breakthrough ideas in product and design.
It would be great if you also have
- Experience in the retail or beauty industry.
- A passion for all things beauty and skincare.
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies.
- A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
