What you’ll be doing
As an Assistant Category Manager for Sunpreps & Tan, you will play a pivotal role in managing our exciting product categories. You’ll collaborate with key suppliers like Beiersdorf and L’Oreal, ensuring we deliver our summer plans effectively while responding to market trends. This role is essential for maintaining our position as a market leader and requires a dynamic approach to seasonal trading.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the Sunpreps & Self Tan categories, focusing on own brand and influencer-founded brands.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with supply, .com, product, ROI, and merchandising teams.
- React to market trends and weather conditions to deliver the summer plan at pace.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure product availability and visibility.
- Flexibly manage workload to adapt to seasonal demands and sales planning.
- Support the development of marketing strategies for product launches.
What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)
- Passion for product management and category development.
- Strong ability to build and manage cross-functional relationships.
- Excellent analytical skills to react to market trends.
- Experience in retail or category management, preferably in beauty or personal care.
It would be great if you also have
- Experience working with well-known brands in the beauty sector.
- Knowledge of seasonal trading strategies.
- Familiarity with supplier relationship management.
- A degree in Marketing or a related field.
