OverviewAs a Mobile Dispensing Optician, you will work across different stores within a defined geographical area to support our stores with cover when people are out of the business.About the roleOur Mobile Dispensing Opticians play a key role in the area at providing crucial clinical support in stores for regulated dispensing. You will work very closely with a Mobile Optometrist and provide a customer experience where there is a seamless journey for the patient from chair to dispense. You will also:Role model, lead and deliver exceptional care, supporting patients and customers to make appropriate choices regarding optical and healthcare products and servicesWork flexibly across the opticians area according to business need, continually developing your knowledge so that you can be at your best for patients and customersProvide expert knowledge for patients with more specialist requirementsDeliver complete healthcare solutions for our patients and customers and coach other opticians team members to do the sameWork with the Boots Healthcare teams to give a one health solutionSupervise the development, education and training of colleagues and support and mentor students (including Student Dispensing Opticians)Comply with the standards of practice and the current Boots Opticians clinical policies and standard operating proceduresSupport the opticians team to deliver an efficient model day and other operational processes to ensure that the opticians business trades legally and safelyGet involved in regular store leadership team meetings to ensure high clinical standards are maintained to support patient safetyActively embraces and advocate the digital agenda and introduce customers to these tools where appropriate through great conversations What you\\\'ll need to haveThese are the essential skills or experience needed to succeed in this role.Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)Optical experience and expertiseGreat at building relationships.
