Regional Operations Manager is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence across our stores in Western England and South Wales.
This is a regional field-based role, working in partnership with the Regional Manager to improve operational performance, embed high standards and support stores to deliver the best possible customer and colleague experience.
We're looking for a highly operational, analytical and commercially minded leader who thrives on improving performance, coaching teams and using data and insight to drive continuous improvement.
You'll work in close partnership with the Regional Manager to deliver operational priorities, ensure exceptional customer experiences and maintain high standards of compliance across the region.
About the role
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you'll support stores across a defined geographical region and will:
- Lead the operational excellence and loss agenda across the region.
- Analyse operational and commercial performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, translating insight into clear action plans.
- Coach and support Store Leaders to improve operational performance, compliance and customer experience.
- Drive consistency and delivery of operational standards, policies and compliance measures across all stores.
- Partner with the Regional Manager to support customer complaints and employee relations matters.
- Ensure clinic deployment across the region is optimised to maximise customer access and operational efficiency.
- Regularly visit stores to identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness, productivity and colleague engagement.
- Monitor key performance indicators, ensuring actions are taken to improve performance where required.
- Ensure all stores operate safely, legally and in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Share best practice across the region, embedding a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- What you'll need to have
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate
- Experience in a multi-site retail, healthcare or customer-facing operational leadership role.
- A strong operational mindset with the ability to balance day-to-day priorities alongside longer-term improvements.
- Excellent analytical skills, with confidence interpreting data, identifying trends and making evidence-based decisions.
- Experience coaching and developing leaders to improve performance.
- Strong knowledge of operational compliance and delivering consistently high standards.
- Experience supporting employee relations and customer escalations.
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and manage a varied workload.
- Flexibility to travel extensively across Western England and South Wales.
