Boots Opticians has just had its 4th record breaking year. Our property team are delivering more new stores and store interventions than ever and our team is expanding. We therefore require an additional Property Implementation Manager to help deliver our property and maintenance strategy. This UK based Field role will be accountable for the design, planning, implementation and management of c70 schemes per year.
This role is dedicated to Boots Opticians Property team, field based in with a remit covering the UK, the role reports to the Property Manager and is one of 4 Implementation Managers.
Key responsibilitiesThis role will support the implementation of the Retail Property Investment strategy for all 550 Boots Opticians stores including Franchise. We deliver 200 annual property change schemes, and this role will be accountable for the project management, planning, design, and contracting and delivery of c70 schemes on time and on budget.
The role will Project manage schemes from inception to conclusion, have significant relationships across Stores, Boots UK and Hearingcare property teams, contractors, suppliers and maintenance teams. The role will enact the portfolio strategy for Opticians including new practice openings, refits, rebrands, relocations. It will be a requirement to work closely with the Core and Franchise store teams as well as Finance and Commercial teams. Close relationship with the BO Planning and Programme Manager and Administrator roles. Accountable for the relationship and management of all contractors and suppliers that work within Boots Opticians Property.

- Diligent, planned, organised and creative, able to translate strategic plans into store specific actions.
- Capability to design stores according to our model and make them a reality.
- Experience with Stores and support office teams.
- Experienced property professional who can bring a sharp focus to deliver the in year and 5 year future plans without line management.
- Builds strong internal and external relationships with influence and impact.
- Driving Licence.
- Commercially astute; Strong financial understanding.
