This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in different environments and is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care and commercial results.

No two days are the same. You'll support all aspects of the business, from delivering excellent customer service and driving store performance to supporting our clinical services, including patient pre-screening, dispensing, accuracy checks and ensuring our stores operate safely and efficiently.

As a people leader, you'll coach and develop colleagues across multiple locations, creating an inclusive culture where everyone can perform at their best. You'll also support key management responsibilities including rota planning, absence management, return-to-work meetings, performance conversations and colleague development.

  • Previous experience working within an optical environment is essential.
  • Previous leadership or management experience, with the ability to lead, coach and develop teams.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer and patient experiences.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to adapt to different store environments.
  • Flexibility to work across London Colney, Hatfield and Amersham as required.

It would be great if you also have:

  • Experience supporting commercial performance across more than one location.
  • Confidence in leading operational change and driving business performance.
  • A proactive approach to coaching and developing colleagues.

Our benefits:

  • Discretionary quarterly bonus
  • Generous employee discounts for you and a second person (terms and conditions apply)
  • Clinical and non-clinical career development opportunities
  • Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption leave, plus a gift card for anyone expecting or adopting a child
  • Flexible benefits scheme including holiday buying, discounted gym membership, life assurance, activity passes and more
  • Access to free, 24/7 counselling and support through TELUS Health, our Employee Assistance Programme

We have a great range of benefits in addition to the above that offer flexibility to suit you.
