What you'll be doing

In this role, you will ensure our media strategies deliver maximum commercial value. Your analytical skills will be key in supporting our integrated measurement ecosystem, translating data into actionable insights that guide our marketing efforts. The Media Effectiveness team sits at the heart of Boots' marketing organisation, ensuring media investment delivers maximum commercial value through integrated, evidence-led decision-making. The team works with a network of internal and external partners to combine complementary perspectives (e.g., MMM, GEO testing, attention, creative quality, audience measurement and attribution) into one joined-up view of performance.

We value integration, clarity, curiosity, collaboration, transparency and quality thinking – alongside passion, energy and the belief that hard work and teamwork make almost anything possible.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the full measurement stack, including MMM, GEO testing, creative quality, and audience measurement and attribution.
  • Assist in the set-up, tracking, and interpretation of tests, summarising outcomes clearly across MMM and GEO tests.
  • Contribute to integrated cross-media effectiveness insight by combining evidence from multiple sources into a coherent view.
  • Build clear, structured reporting and commercially focused storytelling (e.g., What happened / Why / What next).
  • Work closely with media, creative and measurement partners to ensure effective collaboration, data flow and alignment.
  • Help integrate outputs from multiple partners into a single coherent performance narrative to support decision-making.
  • Champion continuous improvement in measurement approaches, processes and insight quality (documentation, repeatable methods, QA).

What you'll need to have (our must-haves)

  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to structure problems logically and work through them step‐by‐step.
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, to translate analysis into actionable recommendations.
  • Comfort working with data (Excel / Google Sheets).
  • A proactive curiosity and willingness to learn about media and measurement.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with multiple partners and stakeholders.
  • Basic understanding of MMM, attribution, or testing methodologies.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).

It would be great if you also have

  • Exposure to media, marketing, e‐commerce, or digital analytics within a brand but open to agency experience.

Benefits

  • Boots Retirement Savings Plan (up to 6% company contribution)
  • Generous employee discounts for you and a family member
  • Enhanced maternity/paternity/adoption leave pay
  • Access to free, 24/7 counselling and support through TELUS Health, our Employee Assistance Programme
  • Flexible benefits scheme including options for additional holiday, discounted gym membership, and much more
