We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our growing Marketing team that will help us achieve our commercial and customer goals and deliver seamless customer experiences.
The Marketing Assistant supports the planning, creation and delivery of email marketing campaigns across the customer lifecycle for Boots Online Doctor. This role is focused on building and deploying email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, coordinating campaign assets and helping deliver high-quality customer communications that drive engagement, retention and commercial performance.
Working closely with the CRM Lead and wider creative and marketing teams, the role provides an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on experience in CRM marketing, campaign execution and customer journey management.
Key responsibilities:
- Build, test and schedule email campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Ensure emails are accurately configured, quality assured and deployed on time.
- Coordinate the email campaign calendar and support content planning across CRM campaigns.
- Write clear creative briefs for copy and design teams, ensuring assets are delivered to specification and on schedule.
- Review creative assets to ensure they meet brand guidelines and campaign requirements.
- Support campaign QA by checking links, personalisation, dynamic content and rendering across devices.
- Monitor campaign performance and assist with reporting on key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates and conversions.
What you’ll need to have:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to investigate build issues and ask the right questions.
- A passion for email marketing and a desire to learn CRM systems, email marketing principles and new ways of working.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and follow processes, checklists, and best practices.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, able to spot errors, check links, proofread content and ensure emails are built accurately.
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience in Email or other Marketing channels.
- A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
