About the Role

The importance of your role. Joining our Category team, you will help drive the success of our brands and our business. You will support the launch and development of consumer brands—both our private labels and national brands—by deciding which products reach our in-store shelves, analysing data, and providing sourcing recommendations to support global consumer and retail brand strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying new product opportunities and ensuring our portfolios meet customer demand and business objectives.
  • Analysing sales and trend data to recommend appropriate sourcing strategies and pricing.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms and reduce cost.
  • Working closely with the Brand Buying team to focus on financial targets and market performance.

How You'll Do It

You will act as a brand ambassador, maintaining a customer‑centric approach, negotiating globally for cost effectiveness, and spotting opportunities that set Boots apart from other retailers.

Qualifications

  • Experience in sourcing, buying, supplier management or negotiations within FMCG or related sectors.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing market.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally as required.
