About the role
The B-Hive is an in-house creative agency bringing to life the creative needs of some of the most recognizable brands in the beauty industry, including No7, Soap & Glory, Liz Earle, and Boots own brand. We combine the capability of an external creative and production team with the speed, flexibility and in-depth brand knowledge of an in-house setâup underpinned by years of experience dedicated to Boots and No7 Beauty Company.
Reporting to the Global Director of Strategic Agency Partnerships & B-Hive, youâll act as the clientâ and businessâpartner for your key accounts, directly accountable for setting the strategic framework, developing and maintaining key relationships with senior leadership, and delivering bestâinâclass executions that grow profit and market share for our brands. Youâll lead your accounts as if they were their own business unit, managing a P & L and ensuring we hit agency targets. Youâll ensure the clientâs scope of work delivers on their 3âyear plans while also ensuring our own agency innovation provides longâterm growth. Youâll spot opportunities to widen support, deliver cost efficiencies, and develop our continuous improvement pipeline internally or in collaboration with other agencies. Youâll work in a wider leadership team spanning Agency Operations, Creative, Creative Production and Strategic Partnerships, driving a culture of excellence that positions The B-Hive as a leading internal creative house. As the Head of Client Services, youâll play a key role in our wider interâagency ecosystem, working collectively and across the aisle with other agency leaders to facilitate bestâinâclass delivery across specialties, always putting the brand and client needs at the heart of everything you do.
Key Responsibilities
- Create strong client relationships at the highest level, ensuring B-Hive supports through scope and added opportunities as the inâhouse agency.
- Uphold the highest standards of delivery: quality of brief, clarity of project plans, engaging client presentations and brilliant creative.
- Agree and maintain scope of work for your business area; own the accuracy of our forecasted scope and manage changes shortâterm and FY.
- Develop a highâperforming Client Services Team focused on their key client area but able to support across all initiatives where needed, leading through ambiguity and driving clarity.
- Be a critical part of the B-Hive Leadership Team, nurturing creative talent whilst also driving a culture of exceptional leadership within the L10 population.
- Act as a consultant using your design and brand experience or pull in specialists to inspire, add insight and best practice to every response.
- Act as a key stakeholder to external partners (creative and production agencies); provide strategic vision, promote bestâinâclass collaboration, share best practice and support delivery through teams.
- Predict and navigate client needs and lead on in-housing new business via the transformation pipeline.
- Actively manage conflict and resolve issues quickly whilst feeding into our continuous improvement measures.
- Provide entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a fastâpaced collaborative workplace that has consistent growth YOY.
- Lead pitches and present to various senior leadership teams, navigating complex business challenges.
- Use your impact & influence to engage with senior leadership team executives where necessary to promote the B-Hive and its capabilities.
