We are seeking a talented and experienced Graphic Designer to join our team as an Events specialist. Reporting to the Design and Brand Manager, as part of the content team you will be dedicated to designing a wide range of materials for company events, including PowerPoint presentations and also event branding and concepts, invite collateral and physical and digital event assets. Your creative skills and attention to detail will help us deliver visually stunning and impactful event experiences.
Responsibilities
- Play a pivotal role in crafting visually compelling and engaging PowerPoint slides that captivate the audience and reinforce the key messages of the event.
- Collaborate closely with event planners and other stakeholders to understand the event themes, objectives and target audience, ensuring that the presentation aligns with the overall vision.
- Meticulously select and integrate high-quality images, graphics, stings and animations to enhance the visual appeal and clarity of the content.
- Incorporate multimedia elements such as videos and interactive features to make the presentation more dynamic and memorable.
- Ensure consistency in fonts, colours, and layouts, creating a cohesive and polished finished show.
- Develop and maintain a consistent visual style for all event-related materials and create all other event graphics such as the stage set, digital assets for the venue and all delegate materials.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in event design and graphic design.
What you\’ll need to have
- A degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
- At least 5 years\’ experience in graphic design, with a focus on creating PowerPoint assets for events.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create compelling presentations.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and colour theory.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
It would be great if you also have
- Experience working in other presentation-based software such as Prezi or Keynote.
- Knowledge of video editing software and motion graphics would be a plus.
- Knowledge or passion for beauty, retail, health and wellness industries.
