Join the Boots Digital team, based in Nottingham as a Digital Production Lead. Your role is crucial in leading the build team for the Condor project, ensuring the seamless execution of the website vision through collaboration with the DX Condor Development team and digital teams. You will oversee the design process and guarantee timely delivery of high-quality pages and components. This exciting fixed-term contract offers a unique opportunity to manage CMS delivery and contribute to a significant digital transformation.
What you'll need to have
- Lead the Build Team: manage a small team of Digital Producers, who will be accountable for building pages in the Content Management System (CMS). Conduct regular team meetings to monitor process, provide guidance and facilitate knowledge sharing and peer reviews.
- Co-ordinate with the Digital Experience Manager, Copy and Design experts to ensure the build team are adhering to the BVI & Design Library guidance.
- CMS Development & Training: Work alongside the Digital Experience Manager and Design & Copy Leads as a CMS Champion to provide training and support the build team during implementation.
- Collaborative working: work with internal teams across the business to deliver on brief and on time.
- Build Process Optimisation: Partner with the workflow management team to understand your build team's capacity and ensure adherence to deadlines and milestones.
- Stakeholder management & approval: Oversee the approval and sign-off process for all pages and components within the CMS.
It would be great if you also have
- You may be educated to degree level, or have an apprenticeship or craft training in copy, editorial, design or digital/web production, backed up by relevant experience.
- Previous experience using a CMS would be desirable.
- Ability to interpret briefs, manage own time, prioritise work and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills, plus ability to work at pace and to tight deadlines.
- A high level of production skill and attention to detail.
