The hourly rate for this role is £12.40 and up to £13.85 across selected locations. The hourly rate will increase after 6 months in role.

About the role
You will work onsite and report to the Assistant or Store Manager. Your role could involve helping at the tills, advising customers, or working in our back shop. You will also:
- Help our customers and put them at ease; listen to their needs, answer questions, provide advice on our products, recommend items, or offer a shopping basket — the little things make a big difference.
- Promote our in-store offers and schemes to provide the best experience for our customers.
- Ensure the store runs smoothly by displaying products correctly, providing excellent service, and replenishing stock from deliveries.
- Work with team members to maintain a clean, presentable store that everyone can be proud of.
- Receive award-winning training accredited by the Institute of Customer Service.
What you’ll need to have
Full training is provided. We are looking for people who:
- Excel in a fast-paced, varied environment.
- Communicate and listen effectively.
- Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team.
- Understand that small actions make a big difference in customer interactions.
- Want to be a proud brand ambassador for Boots and help customers find the best products for them.
- Have 5 years of unbroken references to obtain an airside pass, with references day-specific and no unaccounted periods over 28 days. The references must cover the last 5 years exactly.
It would be great if you also have
Experience providing customer care and delivering excellent service is a plus but not essential.
