What you'll be doing
As a key member of our Buying & Merchandising team, you will
- Lead our Personal Care and Seasonal categories, overseeing diverse ranges from toiletries to Christmas gifts.
- Deliver the annual budget and strategic plan, driving sales and profitability targets.
- Develop and execute category strategies informed by market insights, ensuring our offerings are competitive and compelling.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating commercial terms and driving joint business plans.
- Champion the customer experience, ensuring our propositions meet evolving needs.
- What you'll need to have (our must-haves)
- Proven experience as a Category Manager or in a similar retail trading role.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering sales growth.
- Excellent negotiation skills and experience in supplier management.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data interpretation and Excel.
- Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and manage multiple priorities effectively.
