As part of our Beauty Business Unit, you will lead a dynamic team and collaborate with various departments to create a compelling and customer‑focused beauty experience. We’re focusing on truly understanding our customers’ needs through insights and trends, which support us to deliver the most comprehensive beauty offering in the UK market, under one roof.

What you’ll be doing

In this fast‑paced role, you will lead a team in delivering our annual budget and negotiate joint business plans with our UK brand partners. You’ll work closely cross‑functionally with a number of Boots UK teams to ensure we meet our business priorities including supply, finance & merchandising.

  • Own and deliver the commercial plan for the Premium Beauty category, analysing sales performance to enable reactivity where required.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of between 4 and 6 direct reports.
  • Develop and execute a clear, customer‑led beauty trading strategy to ensure operational excellence, providing exceptional communication and problem‑solving support to our stores.
  • Collaborate with ISM, Finance, Supply Chain, and Merchandising to execute an integrated category plan.
  • Build and manage strong supplier partnerships to develop exclusive and differentiated joint business plans.
  • Analyse sales performance within the market to define new product and brand opportunities to unlock further category growth and share.
  • Manage and drive the overall category P+L alongside the rest of the Premium Beauty leadership team.

What you’ll need to have

  • Previous experience working within a buying or category team.
  • Ideally, line management experience.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple big brands across the Premium Beauty category.
  • Exceptional communication skills, ensuring accuracy and a "right first time" mentality.
  • A passion for beauty and a focus on career development within the trading function would be great.
