About the role
We are looking for a passionate Campaign Insight Analyst to join the Customer Marketing & Loyalty team in our Nottingham office. Our team's aim is to turn our world-renowned Boots Advantage Card data into clear, actionable insights for our stakeholders. We want customers to receive highly personal, relevant communications that create value for the business.
If you are numerate, logical and curious about customer behaviour, we would love to hear from you. You will work within the Personalisation and Customer Data Science team, specializing in campaign activation for our supplier brands. You will analyse data from multiple sources to:
- Identify optimum audiences for our marketing campaigns,
- Build targeted campaign selections,
- Analyse campaign results (across email/app/social),
- Translate your findings and present them to our business partners, providing insights that shape future strategies to improve our activities and generate commercial value,
- Improve existing processes and enhance efficiency,
- Collaborate with teams across the business to deliver the best outcomes for our customers.
What you will need to have
These are the essential skills or experience needed to succeed in this role:
- Relevant previous experience or a degree with quantitative elements (e.g., includes statistics modules), such as Maths, Physics, Geography, or Psychology,
- Experience translating business questions into analytical problems, using available data to develop scalable solutions,
- Experience presenting complex results to less technical audiences,
- The desire to investigate potential problems,
- Experience organizing own workload, managing multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously,
- Confidence in communicating and building relationships, especially with marketing teams.
Preferred skills and experience
These are desirable but not essential. We welcome applications from candidates without these additional criteria:
- Proficiency in coding languages such as SQL, R, Python, etc.,
- Experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI,
- Experience with targeting, optimization, or measurement of marketing activities using tools like Adobe Campaign,
- Experience working with relational databases,
- A proven track record of delivering results in a commercial environment,
- Expertise in working with large structured and unstructured data sets,
- Examples of automating business processes.
