About the role: We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a pharmacist to join our Regional Dispensing Hub in Basingstoke. As our Supply Chain Pharmacist, you will be a critical part of our exciting new project which is going to enable growth through central fill innovation whilst using your knowledge and previous experience to lead the day-to-day clinical operations.
Your main areas of responsibility will be:
- Deliver day to day clinical operations and services to our stores.
- Lead safety-first culture to ensure patient safety and health and safety standards.
- Show initiative and continuous improvement by setting up new procedures and operations to evolve the module for our Pharmacy stores.
- Leading the clinical elements of the production shift supporting site colleagues to complete tasks within timeframes as well as high level of accuracy.
- Supervision and training for colleagues.
- Work flexibly as part of the RDH leadership team to support end to end performance.
What you’ll need to have:
- GPhC Registered practicing pharmacist with extensive post-registration experience within community pharmacy.
- Ability to work at pace in high volume environment.
- Good technical and IT Skills.
- A distribution and supply chain background, preferably in Pharmacy logistics is advantageous.
- Ability to work in continuous evolving role as we shape for future innovation.
- Motivated to deliver continuous improvements whilst demonstrating leadership capabilities.
