As an Optometrist at Boots, you’ll play a key role in delivering brilliant patient care – using the latest tech, working alongside experienced colleagues, and supporting your community with clinical excellence. Key responsibilities
- Leading clinics and delivering outstanding patient care

- Providing enhanced services, from triage support to advanced assessments, depending on store needs

- GOC registered (or expecting to be within 6 months)
- NHS performer number (or working towards it)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for 1 experienced, fully qualified and registered Optometrist to join us on a resident basis based out of our Ayr practice at Boots Opticians for part time covering 2 days with weekend flexibility. Our Practice in Ayr is situated within the Boots UK store consisting of 3 testing rooms. The practice is supported by a team of 18 including some very talented Clinicians. 4 Optom, 1 CLO and 2 DO. Each practice consists of OCT, Phoropters and some do have the Optomap as well. The ideal candidate for this role would be very experienced and ready to hit the ground running.
