About the role
As an Assistant Manager at Boots Opticians you will lead and inspire your team to deliver an exemplary customer journey. You will work closely with the Store Manager to create and deliver the commercial plan to help the business grow and change for the better. You will be involved in customer service, store operations, and clinical activities including patient pre-screening and dispensing accuracy checks, and more. You will manage a team with varying experience and clinical knowledge, helping them develop their knowledge, skills and future careers. This includes management tasks such as creating and maintaining rotas, return-to-work reviews and performance management. We will support you in completing our industry-leading Step into Optics training programme to develop your clinical knowledge, with leadership training programmes also available to help you develop and carve out a career at Boots Opticians.
