About the role
The Assistant eCommerce Manager for Dropship is responsible for growing range at a fast pace whilst trading our existing dropship business. The ambition is to expand product offering on Boots.com, to attract new and existing customers, by providing more choices in both existing and new categories. This role covers the full end of end, from identifying strategically important brands, engaging with them and managing the onboarding journey, to agreeing trade plans and working cross functionally to deliver these. The role provides exposure to working with a variety of functions, both within digital and the wider business. This person will help to accelerate our dropship business and plays a key part in achieving our total Boots.com revenue, profit and market share ambitions.On occasions the role will be required to be available out of normal office hours.
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for the onboarding and delivery of the dropship pipeline
- Support the eCommerce manager for dropship in implementing the strategic direction of the new category/sub-categories online
- Work closely with the trading teams on driving performance of our existing dropship brands as well as developing the pipeline for new opportunities
- Work with the wider eCommerce teams to optimise new categories and brands- Hold suppliers accountable for delivery of dropship KPI\’s
- Managing multiple stakeholders across varying functions both internally and externally
- Delivery of category revenue and profit targets
- Manage relationship with our Dropship partner
- Help manage Vendor and Item set-up for dropship categories
- Support with reporting and gaining insights for dropship
- Improving the existing dropship model to allow us to better align with competitors
What you\’ll need to have
- Digital or trading experience (both is preferable) or be able to demonstrate commercial and/or online knowledge
- Supplier and third-party relationship experience
- Able to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Takes ownership and hold others to account
- Data & insight led using analysis to develop customer & site actions
