The hourly rate for this role is £13.12 to £15.10 across selected locations in London. No previous experience is required, and full training will be provided.

About The Opportunity

As a Trainee Dispenser working within one of our stores, you will be a key member of the pharmacy team supporting the pharmacist and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy and healthcare services. While completing the Dispenser training (NVQ2), you will build relationships with patients, greeting customers, dispensing prescriptions, ensuring safe sale of medicines, and providing advice to support informed decisions about health and wellness. This role is based in‑store within the UK; remote applicants are not considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete your training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme
  • Dispense prescriptions while ensuring the safe supply of medicines (ordering, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collection)
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the store to manage and deliver pharmacy services
  • Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the pharmacist as appropriate
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to support the safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions
  • Keep up‑to‑date with new innovations in the store and comply with operational processes
  • Support patients to manage their prescriptions efficiently, promote adherence, and reduce waste

What You’ll Need To Have

  • Desire to learn and complete the Dispenser training programme (NVQ2)
  • Current and valid UK right to work; this role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa

It would be great if you also have

  • Experience working in community pharmacy
