About the role
We\’re looking for a QA Engineer to help ensure our application runs smoothly by identifying and supporting resolution of defects. You will collaborate with teams to define and implement test strategies and plans, and identifying areas for test automation.
Other main responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing automated and manual tests, and analysing test results to identify defects and areas for improvement
- Creating and maintaining test data, and continuously improving testing processes and methodologies to ensure high-quality software
- Stay up-to-date with latest trends and technologies in test automation, and using this knowledge to improve and innovate testing practices
- Provide regular reports and updates on test automation progress, coverage and results to teams and partners
- Participate in the code release process / cycle
What you’ll need to have
These are the essential skills or experience needed to succeed in this role.
- ISTQB Certified
- End-to-end UI Test Automation experience
- Experience with Back End Automation
- A reasonable understanding of the systems development life cycle as it relates to testing activities
- An understanding of the software development process
- Experience using Git
- Can produce Test documentation on Confluence
- Process review, improving and provide documentation where applicable
- Experience working in an Agile environment, collaborating members in and outside of squads
- Support project and task management tools like Jira, Confluence and in using MS Office / Google Workspace applications

- Previous working experience with Cypress Automation, SQL/Database Testing experience
- Experience with Git/Jenkins, Postman/Swagger
- End to end and Regression testing experience
- Previous working experience with API Test Automation
- Previous experience using other tools like Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Detox or other testing frameworks and libraries
- Experience in building CI/CD Pipeline working with AWS technology
- Release management experience
