Overview

The Time and Attendance Operations Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day management and optimisation of the MyTime system, ensuring it is reliable, efficient, and fit for purpose for all colleagues. They act as the operational owner of the system, overseeing daily processes, supporting users, and managing new developments. The role reports to the Head of Deployment. The Time and Attendance Operations Manager is part of Core Operations within Central Operations. System Management & Operations

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the MyTime system, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and consistency
  • Act as the first point of contact for system issues, escalating where necessary and ensuring timely resolution
  • Ensure system updates and changes are tested, communicated, and embedded effectively
  • Development & Continuous Improvement
    • Manage and deliver ad hoc system developments and enhancements, working with technical teams and stakeholders
    • Identify new opportunities and innovations within MyTime to simplify processes and improve colleagues\’ experience
    • Partner with business functions to align system capabilities with future needs and priorities
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
    • Build strong relationships with leaders, and support teams to ensure MyTime meets business needs
    • Gather and analyse feedback to drive improvements and address pain points
    • Inspire and coach teams through agile leadership, setting clear goals to achieve a culture of success and recognition
  • Governance & Compliance
    • Ensure MyTime is compliant with company policies, data protection standards, and legislative requirements
    • Maintain accurate records of system changes, developments, and decisions

Qualifications

  • Strong operational and systems management experience, ideally within workforce management or HR systems
  • Ability to balance day-to-day delivery and long-term improvement
  • Strong communication skills, able to translate technical detail into clear colleague-focused messages
  • Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across different teams
  • Highly organised with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Forward-thinking and proactive, with a focus on innovation and colleague experience
  • It would be great if you also had:
  • Previous Stores experience
  • Knowledge of the MyTime system
  • Previous leadership experience
