We are looking for individuals to join our exciting Boots.ie order picking team in-store. You will work in a Boots store and report into the Assistant or Store Manager. Your role is to pick and pack customer orders, work in our back shop, run our stock room and support with deliveries and stock management. To support our Boots.ie operation we have implemented several programs nationally in-store to ensure we meet the demand of our customer's needs.
Responsibilities
- Pick and pack online customer orders to a high standard using a handheld device
- Obtain the relevant information required for picking, packing & dispatching of orders
- Locate all the required goods in the picking areas across the store
- Use the Pod equipment safely and effectively
- Comply with the organisation's policies and procedures and all relevant legal, safety and operating requirements relating to picking, packing and dispatching of online orders
- Support the wider store operational activities
Full training is provided for this role.

- Understanding of an online pick/pack operation
- Enjoy following process and working at pace

- Able to communicate and listen effectively
- Digitally savvy and comfortable embracing new technology, including handheld mobile devices to process online orders
- A passion for providing great customer care – while most of your work will happen behind the scenes, you may occasionally support out on the shop floor working with customers
- A flexible approach to working hours and patterns
Preferred skills (not essential)
- Experience in a retail or warehouse operations environment
- Experience with inventory systems management
- Familiar with handheld Pods and IT systems
