Contract: Permanent & Full Time
Hours: 8:30 am–5:30 pm or 9:00 am–6:00 pm (with a 1-hour lunch)
Weekend work: Some weekend shifts required, based on service needs.
Location: Remote or Hybrid. Some office time will be needed in our Support Office - Angel, Islington.

Join our dynamic and expanding multidisciplinary team as an Independent Prescriber, specialising in ADHD and mental health care.
About The Role
You’ll conduct remote consultations (video and phone) with patients undergoing ADHD medication titration and post-stabilisation, prescribing in line with NICE guidelines using systems like SystmOne and EPS. You’ll also offer advice on non-pharmacological strategies to support individual treatment goals and have the opportunity to work in the Boots Online Doctor Depression and Anxiety Service. There will be occasional travel to our London (Islington) office for induction, team meetings or training. Depending on your location, you may also support in‑person ADHD prescribing clinics in central London.
Key Responsibilities
- Titration and review of ADHD medications.
- Participating in weekly MDT meetings, clinical audits, supervision sessions, and ongoing training.
- Contributing to continuous service development and innovation.
- Being part of the duty prescriber rota – triaging referrals, handling urgent patient/GP queries, and managing prescription requests.
- Attending a short daily clinical team “huddle” for service updates.
What You’ll Need To Have
- Current NMC or GPhC registration.
- Independent Prescribing Qualification (V300).
- At least 1 year of prescribing experience within ADHD care.
- Familiarity with national clinical guidelines and understanding of professional limitations.
- Proven ability to consult independently, make sound clinical decisions, and upscale appropriately.
- Experience in risk assessments and safeguarding escalation.
- Positive, proactive mindset with a commitment to service improvement.
- Confident using digital tools and clinical systems.
It would be great if you also have
- Formal training in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of adult ADHD.
- Previous experience working in mental health services.
- Experience working in a newly established service.
- Skills and experience in completing ADHD diagnostic assessments.
