We're seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager with a strong background in construction and facilities management to join our growing team in Nottingham. The role manages a variety of projects across the UK, ensuring delivery safely, on time, and within budget.
Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, you will take ownership of complex, multi-disciplined projects often delivered in live operational environments and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders including clients, contractors, consultants and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of construction and FM projects from planning through to completion and handover.
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with scope, budget and programme requirements.
- Deliver projects safely and efficiently within live operational environments, minimising disruption to client activities.
- Coordinate design, procurement and site activities with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, budgets, risk registers and progress reports.
- Ensure full compliance with CDM regulations, health & safety standards and company procedures.
- Drive performance to achieve client satisfaction, quality outcomes and value for money.
- Provide strong leadership and communication across all stakeholders and disciplines.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Experience with project management within the construction or facilities management sector.
- Experience delivering complex projects in live operational environments.
- Excellent partner engagement and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines and project budgets.
- Experience with CDM regulations and possession of SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) desirable.
- PRINCE2 or other formal project management qualification advantageous.
- RICS qualification.
- Asbestos awareness.
- Legionella awareness.
- LOLER awareness.
- Willingness to travel nationally, including overnight stays.
- Full UK driving licence.
