We're looking for a motivated and creative Digital Copy and Content Lead with a specialist skill in copywriting to join the Digital Experience team, and lead projects from brief to live on our UK and ROI websites.
You will lead the day to day digital content delivery for one of our business unit trading areas (Health, Pharmacy and Health Hub). You'll work within a team of copywriters, designers, UX, SEO and FED specialists to ensure all briefs that come into the team are delivered with a focus on digital copy, to give a customer experience to remember. In a fast paced and reactive environment you'll be relied upon to stay calm and collected, working within the Boots guidelines, to ensure the digital experience is best-in-class.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead content creation and delivery by working in partnership with the Design Lead for your business area, ensuring digital marketing campaigns and events briefed into the team land right first time.
- Develop engaging copy to meet the briefs of high-profile campaigns and projects, through the project lifecycle of creation of copy, testing, quality control, final page approvals and publishing to live.
- Work closely with the SEO team to enhance engagement of digital content delivery using supporting tools and insights.
- Champion and embed the DE&I and Boots copy principles into boots.com/.ie, ensuring pharmacy, medical and legal compliance.
- Stakeholder management with internal teams and external agencies including boots.com commercial and operations teams, marketing communications.
- Work closely with the eCommerce and pharmacy, medical and legal teams to ensure all content meets all requirements and is approved by all parties before go-live.
- Work within the project management workflow tool to understand briefs, manage team resource, monitor status, and deliver to agreed timelines.
- Line management, coaching and development of a small team of copywriters.
What You'll Need To Have (our Must-haves)
- At least 3 years' worth of experience within digital content/copy for a commercial site.
- CMS working knowledge (Adobe AEM would be ideal).
- Excellent project management, organisation and communication skills, with high attention to detail and customer focus.
- Strong and collaborative stakeholder management.
- Previous experience of coaching and mentoring team members.
