Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Join Boots as a Commercial Financial Planning & Analysis Manager in our Central FP&A team in Nottingham, Beeston! As part of our Finance team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategies and driving progress across the organisation.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead FP&A activities, including the annual 3-Year Plan and Budget processes.
- Design and implement internal processes to meet Group deadlines.
- Identify performance trends for robust target setting.
- Provide insightful reporting to aid understanding of performance.
- Manage and mentor a Senior Finance Analyst.
- Provide reporting (both regular and ad hoc) to our Executive Leadership Team to aid their understanding of performance, providing analysis and creating insight to inform future decisions.
What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with the confidence to challenge and influence.
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of TM1 reporting and Planning Analytics is a plus.
It would be great if you also have
- Previous experience in leading small teams.
- A natural curiosity and a “can do” mindset.
