About The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to support the Buying Manager to deliver a key project that moves Boots Brand Healthcare lines to an alternative source while ensuring the consumer retains continuous access during the transfer. The role offers a senior buyer level within the Global Sourcing Team in Nottingham and involves national and international travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a own-label healthcare portfolio.
- Drive margin for the retailer and support business recommendations through initial research and analysis.
- Maintain ongoing and new vendor relationships and supplier performance, including regular supplier meetings.
- Support the optimisation of a supply base to enable differentiated New Product Development.
- Manage category projects alongside fellow Buyers within the EU Sourcing Team.
About You
- Relevant sourcing experience developing new goods for retail products and maintaining KPIs on an established portfolio.
- Experience within a fast-paced retail buying environment.
- Strong cross-functional stakeholder management and negotiation skills, ideally on a global level for spend categories >$5m.
- Proven track record of delivering category sourcing strategies and exceptional commercial results.
- Knowledge of the strategic sourcing lifecycle, commercial acumen, and P&L concepts.
