About The Role
As a Boots Healthcare Logistics Driver (HLD), you will deliver medicines and equipment to care homes, patients at home, GP surgeries and other Boots stores, prioritising the patient behind the parcel. You will report to the Healthcare Logistics Manager and work within an allocated route time, using a Boots‑maintained vehicle equipped with a handheld device for pre‑planned routing and navigation.
Responsibilities
- Build great relationships with store teams, care homes and GP surgeries.
- Follow standards, operating policies and health and safety procedures.
- Drive safely and legally.
- Keep your vehicle maintained and clean, reporting any damage or issues.
- Provide feedback on customer comments and concerns and suggest operational improvements.
- Act as a proud ambassador for Boots Healthcare Logistics.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year’s driving experience.
- Ability to read and interpret delivery routes and instructions.
- Comfortable following processes and working at pace to meet service levels and targets.
- Physical stamina and capability to work in a manually demanding role with heavy lifting.
- Comfortable using new technology.
- Calm in the face of unexpected changes or challenges.
- Comfortable in new situations and meeting new people.
- A genuine desire to help people and provide legendary care.
