Boots UK Performance Media are an award-winning in-house team responsible for driving a large percentage of online and offline growth for our Retail business through best-in-class online advertising strategy and activation. Recently in-housed in 2024, we are building one of the UK's most successful, innovative brand-side teams by bringing together industry-leading talent with the very best tech and AI solutions.
As the Performance Media Tech and AI Executive, you will play a hands-on role supporting the rollout, testing and optimisation of Technology and AI solutions across our performance media channels. Working closely with our Tech and AI Manager and Specialists, you will help implement new tools, monitor performance, and keep the team up to speed on the latest platform innovations. This role is ideal for someone curious about the future of media and passionate about using technology to make marketing smarter and more effective.
Key Responsibilities- Support our team of Tech and AI Specialists to help embed new Technology solutions, automation and AI tools.
- Assist the Tech and AI Manager and Specialists with project coordination – driving effective communication throughout.
- Directly assist with the launch of workflow Agents – being the go-to owner for these Agents of automation for the Performance Media team.
- Own the key communications touchpoints, follow up and action plans following key milestone sessions with our Tier 1 partners.
- Monitor AI and tech-led campaign performance, helping to track results and identify areas for optimisation.
- Stay up to date on platform updates, tool enhancements and beta opportunities from partners like Google, Meta and Awin.
- 1–3 years' experience in digital marketing, ideally with some hands-on exposure to advertising platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Meta Ads, Smartly, SA360).
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail, comfortable managing multiple tasks.
- Curious and proactive – keen to learn about the future of AI in marketing and to join a team at the forefront of change in this space.
- Strong communicator who enjoys working across different teams and stakeholders.
- Ideally experience using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, GeminiPRO, Meta AI).
