As a Mobile Contact Lens Optician, you will work across different stores within a defined geographical area to support them with cover when staff are out of the business.
As a Contact Lens Optician you will lead and inspire the opticians team to deliver excellent patientâcentred care and ensure our customers and patients feel confident in their contact lenses.
Responsibilities- Be an expert in the Boots Opticians contact lens product portfolio.
- Provide knowledge about complete care solutions, services and offers to create lifelong patients and customers through appropriate recommendations.
- Supervise the development, education and training of colleagues and support and mentor students.
- Seek opportunities to engage with local commissioners and external healthcare professionals.
- Support the Divisional Contact Lens Lead in growing the business, helping stores identify new opportunities for customers to wear contact lenses, and support confidence with store teams and clinicians in driving contact lens trials.
- Work in partnership with the local management team to deliver both contact lens and ophthalmologyâled services.
- Be a proud ambassador, with a desire for Boots to be the first choice for patients for their contact lens needs.
- Travel to different stores within the area.
- Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).

- Motivated to own your learning and development, completing all educational training CET as part of the GOC requirement.
