Overview

You will work onsite and report into the Assistant or Store Manager. Your role may involve helping on the tills, advising customers, or working in our back shop.

Responsibilities

  • Help customers feel at ease by listening, answering questions, and giving great advice on our products.
  • Know our in‑store offers and schemes and promote them to customers.
  • Help the store run smoothly by ensuring products are displayed correctly, providing a great till service, and assisting with stock in the stock rooms.
  • Work with team members to maintain a clean and presentable store for customers.
  • Receive award‑winning training accredited by the Institute of Customer Service and join as a Customer Advisor, gaining valuable experience or new challenges.

Essential skills and experience

Full training is provided for this role, and we are looking for people who excel in a varied environment, work at pace, communicate and listen effectively, enjoy working as part of a team, recognise the impact of small actions in customer interactions, and desire to be a proud brand ambassador for Boots.

Desirable skills and experience

Experience providing customer care and delivering great customer service (not essential).

Work conditions

This is a permanent role; please only apply if you can commit to the advertised hours, including weekend shifts. The hourly rate is £13.02 and up to £15.10 across selected London locations, increasing after six months.
