The hourly rate for this role is £13.12 and up to £15.10 across selected locations within London. Healthcare Clinic Assistants are the first-person patients see and speak to when they arrive for their appointment. You will deliver care and direction for every patient, responding quickly to their needs and play an integral part of the pharmacy services team. You will work in our in-store clinic.
About The Role
As a Healthcare Clinic Assistant you will support the patient throughout the appointment journey, ensuring a warm welcome, collecting relevant information and observing the patient during the post‑appointment phase before they leave.
You Will Also:
- Greet patients arriving for pre‑booked appointments and explain how their appointment will work.
- Check, capture and verify patient data on an electronic device.
- Observe patients in the waiting area following their appointment and escalate any potential issues to the appropriate member of the team.
- Comply with governance, policies, standard operating procedures and health and safety rules.
- Be a supportive member of the team, working collaboratively to achieve team and organisational goals.
- You will train in basic first aid skills to support with adverse reactions.
