Salary for this role is £13.56 per hour and up to £15.59 per hour in selected locations within London. Boots is shaking up the beauty scene and our Beauty Specialists lead the charge by providing expert advice and driving sales in our premium beauty halls.
Responsibilities
- Report to the Assistant Manager and work across all premium/luxury beauty brands, giving customers unbiased advice.
- Meet sales targets while working as part of a team; no performance‑based commission but up to £1000 annual product allowance for personal testing and recommendation.
- Use sales and communication skills to approach and interact with a wide variety of customers throughout the day.
- Maintain the premium beauty hall and make‑up counters, ensuring all counters and testers are well stocked, cleaned and tidy.
- Receive expert hands‑on training with premium brands and comprehensive online learning.
- Attend virtual and in‑person conferences for immersive education.
- Possibly support social media content creation, events or campaigns.
Qualifications
- Enthusiasm and passion for makeup, skincare and haircare.
- A warm, approachable manner and confidence to start conversations with customers.
- A passion for achieving and exceeding sales targets or goals.
- Ability to work at pace.
- Good communication skills and ability to understand customer needs.
- A proactive approach to learning about new products, techniques and services.
- Experience working towards sales or targets in beauty retail (desirable).
- Creative flair or interest in social content (desirable).

Hours and Shift Patterns
Basic hours: 30 per week. Working days include Monday to Sunday; shift patterns will be discussed at interview.
