Joining the first Regional Dispensing Hub (RDH) in Basingstoke as a supply chain pharmacist is an opportunity to be part of the future of Pharmacy and support almost 150 stores, their teams and their patients. The RDH is a cutting-edge, semi-automated pharmacy operation that will centrally fill repeat prescriptions and dispatch back to stores within 24 hours.

Our supply chain pharmacists will oversee clinical governance, support NVQ training of our dispensing operatives and be instrumental in shaping patient safety and efficiency throughout the operation. We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a pharmacist to join our Regional Dispensing Hub in Basingstoke. As our Supply Chain Pharmacist, you will be a critical part of our exciting new project which is going to enable growth through central fill innovation whilst using your knowledge and previous experience to lead the day-to-day clinical operations.

  • Lead safety-first culture to ensure patient safety and health and safety standards.
  • Show initiative and continuous improvement by setting up new procedures and operations to evolve the module for our Pharmacy stores.
  • Leading the clinical elements of the production shift supporting site colleagues to complete tasks within timeframes as well as high level of accuracy.
  • Supervision and training for colleagues.
  • Work flexibly as part of the RDH leadership team to support end-to-end performance.

GPhC Registered practicing pharmacist with extensive post-registration experience within community pharmacy. A distribution and supply chain background, preferably in Pharmacy logistics is advantageous.
