What you’ll need to have
The role is critical to ensuring the Digital Transformation programme delivers successfully. It will empower our teams with new tools, systems and processes enabling them to deliver efficiently and effectively for our customers and the Boots business.
Reporting to the Condor Change Manager within the Boots Transformation Office, you will benefit from this Centre of Excellence while working exclusively on Digital Transformation.
Working across a large, diverse, cross-functional team that includes Digital, IT and external partners, you will support business teams through the programme. This role is exciting, challenging and varied, and will support fundamentally changing the way we manage our digital business.
- Support Change Initiatives: Assist in planning, validating and executing change plans, collaborating with the wider Change team
- Stakeholder Engagement: Help identifying stakeholders, understanding their needs and developing communication plans to secure engagement
- Change Impact Assessment: Contribute to assessing the impact of changes to processes, systems, governance and data
- Release Communication: Assist in drafting release-specific communications, ensuring messages are clear, concise and tailored to audiences
- Training and Development: Help design training materials and facilitate sessions that support change adoption
- Business Readiness & Hypercare: Support business readiness activities before, during and after go-live
- Change Management Planning: Supporting the Change team with JIRA activities – creating plans, action logs and tracking progress
It would be great if you also have
- Excellent communication & listening skills with the ability to explain complex issues to those with a non-technical background, and build strong relationships with stakeholders
- A keen eye for detail to ensure nothing gets missed, and all questions get answers
- Considerate and sensitive to how people are feeling throughout the programme and able to adjust approach accordingly
- Can be relied on to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
- Critical thinker, willing to challenge to find process and systems improvements
- Ability to operate to tight deadlines, including prioritisation of own tasks
- Enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck into the programme
- Project management skills e.g. creation and oversight of plan and approach
- Previous project experience, ideally in a complex, digital programme
- Experience creating and/or delivering training
- Excellent organisational and problem solving skills
- Experience using JIRA would be helpful but full training will be provided
- Experience of current digital processes/ways of working would be useful but is not required
