About the role
If you have a recruitment background and are looking to join a people-focused and purpose-driven function, this could be your next move. This is a diverse role in which you will coach and use your expertise in recruitment best practice to support our hiring leaders by finding top talent for our stores. This is an opportunity to make a real difference to our stores and to showcase your creative skills through our social platforms to deliver a first-class end-to-end candidate and hiring manager experience.
Key responsibilities
- Work in partnership with our store teams and stakeholders to understand demand for current and future resource requirements (both internal and external), and create recruitment plans to source great people for the business.
- Represent the Boots brand externally in a professional and creative manner to raise the profile of our business functions, including social media activity and attraction campaigns.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process—prepare candidates for interviews, manage feedback, and negotiate successful offers.
- Collaborate with Hiring Managers and the wider HR team to provide recruitment recommendations and continuous improvement solutions.
- Stay informed on market trends and talent pipelines; work with the Recruitment Marketing team to design and execute targeted attraction strategies.
What you'll need to have
- Previous recruitment experience (either in-house or agency)
- Proven experience managing full life-cycle recruitment
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- Creative attraction techniques and pipeline management strategies
- A customer-centric approach in all recruitment activities
- A mindset focused on continuous improvement
It would be great if you also have
- Experience in healthcare recruitment
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or Customer Relationship Management tools (CRMs)
