Your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading clinics and providing specialist care and advice to all patients.
- Testing eyes using the latest technology whilst maintaining outstanding patient care.
- Delivering enhanced services depending on the store needs.
- Responding to emergency triages.
- Working with external healthcare professionals.
- Providing clinical support to team members on the shop floor.

What you’ll need to have:
The essential skills or experience needed to succeed in this role:
- GOC registered (or expecting to be in the next 6 months).
- Additional registration with the relevant NHS body.

We are looking for a passionate and friendly Optometrist to join our team in Birkenhead for 3 days per week! This is a single-testing practice, in which you will be supported by a team leader, Dispensing optician, Senior Dispensing optician, Senior Optical Consultants and Trainee Optical Consultant. Full pre-screening is carried out by the team on every customer. The equipment in-store consists of the latest model of OCT, Auto-refractor, and brand-new fields machine. As part of a hub of 4 practices, you will have direct contact with 9 other Optometrists with experience ranging from 3 months' qualified to 35 years qualified. Immediate support by phone/video call is always available.
