About the role
The B-Hive is an in-house creative agency bringing to life the creative needs of some of the most recognizable brands in the beauty industry including No7, Soap & Glory, Liz Earle and Boots own brand. We combine the capability of an external creative and production team, with the speed, flexibility, and in-depth brand knowledge of an in-house set-up, underpinned by years of experience dedicated to Boots and No7 Beauty Company.
Reporting to the Global Director of Strategic Agency Partnerships & B-Hive, you’ll act as the Client and business partner for your key accounts, directly accountable for setting the strategic framework, developing and maintaining key relationships with Senior Leadership and delivering best-in-class executions that deliver profit and market share for your brands. You’ll lead your accounts as it’s their own business unit with B-Hive, managing a P&L and ensuring we hit agency targets. You’ll ensure the clients scope of work delivers on their own 3YPs while also ensuring our own agency innovation provides long term growth. You’ll have an eye of opportunity, whether that’s identifying wider areas of support; providing cost efficiencies; or developing our continuous improvement pipeline, internally or in better collaboration and triaging with other agencies.
You’ll work in a wider leadership team crossing Agency Operations, Creative, Creative Production and Strategic Partnerships that will enable the development, culture and industry standards needed to support The B-Hive as a leading internal creative house. As The Head of Client Services, you’ll play a key role in our wider inter-agency ecosystem, working collectively and across the aisle with other agency leadership, to facilitate best-in-class delivery across specialties putting the brand and client needs at the heart of everything you do.
Key Responsibilities
- Create strong client relationships at the highest level, understanding plans and ensure B-hive is supporting through scope and added opportunities as the in-house agency
- Uphold the highest standards for excellent delivery: quality of brief, clarity of project plans, engaging client presentations and brilliant creative
- Agree and maintain scope of work for your business area; Own the accuracy of our forecasted scope and managing changes short-term and FY
- Develop a high-performing Client Services Team, focused on their key client area but able to support across all initiatives where needed, lead through ambiguity and drive clarity.
- Be a critical part of the B-Hive LT, nurturing creative talent whilst also driving a culture of exceptional leadership within the L10 population
- Act as a consultant, using your design and brand experience, or pulling in specialists to inspire, add insight and best practice to every response
- Key stakeholder to external partners (creative and production agencies); providing strategic vision, promoting best in class collaboration, sharing best practice and supporting in delivery through teams
- Predict and navigate client needs and lead on in-housing new business via transformation pipeline
- Actively manage conflict and resolve issues quickly whilst feeding into our continuous improvement measures
- Provide entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative workplace that has consistent growth YOY
- Lead pitches, present to various senior leadership teams, and navigate complex business challenges
- Use your impact & influence to engage with senior leadership team, exec members where necessary to promote / present the B-Hive and its capabilities
