The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
As a qualified Contact Lens Optician, you will be providing a high level of customer care and expert advice to make a real difference to our customers and keep them coming back. You will work in store across our clinics and the wider store to support day-to-day operations, reporting to the Store Manager/Hub Manager.
Responsibilities
- Using your passion for delivering patient care, work with colleagues to deliver a positive customer journey.
 - Build longstanding relationships with colleagues, customers and healthcare professionals in the local community and explore opportunities for delivering enhanced services.
 - Use up-to-date knowledge of contact lens technology and spectacle dispensing to train and develop the wider optical team.
 - Validate complex prescriptions and support vulnerable groups, providing expert knowledge for patients with more specialist requirements.
 - Opportunity to supervise a Student Contact Lens Optician/Student Dispensing Optician.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Contact Lens Optician (CLO) to join us at Boots Opticians, ideally on a full-time basis. We understand that flexibility is important to maintain a good work/life balance, so we are happy to consider part-time hours and can accommodate flexible weekend working arrangements.
This practice has 4 testing rooms and is fully equipped with OCT, Phoropters, retinal cameras, slit lamps, and additional specialist equipment to support a wide range of clinical services, including Low Vision assessments, Dry Eye clinics, and MECS. The practice is in a prime, easily accessible location with free on-site parking, providing a busy, patient-focused environment in a fun and supportive team.
