The clinic environment

The role
- Be the first point of contact for customers, providing a warm and professional welcome.
- Carry out hearing screenings and pre‑clinic checks.
- Support hearing aid maintenance, aftercare, and troubleshooting.
- Assist Audiologists with clinic flow and customer preparation.
- Confidently discuss hearing health, ear care products, and next steps with customers.
- Manage administration, appointments, and customer records accurately.
- Play an active role in delivering a high‑quality, customer‑centric service.
Training & career progression
From day one, you’ll receive structured training to build confidence and clinical understanding, including sessions at our Boots Hearingcare Academy in Llandudno. Training is delivered over several months, with all accommodation and expenses covered, and is supported by hands‑on experience in store.
Career pathway
This role offers a clear progression route: Hearing Wellness Advisor → QHAD → Audiologist. With strong performance, you can progress onto our fully funded Qualification in Hearing Aid Dispensing (QHAD) programme, leading to a qualified Hearing Aid Audiologist role.
Entry requirements
- GCSEs (or equivalent) Grade C / 5 or above in Maths, English, and Science.
- Strong performance and customer focus.
- Ability to balance academic study with clinical practice.
