Responsibilities:
- Wash all equipment used in the preparation of food including pots, pans, utensils, crockery and cutlery to ensure that the kitchen wash up area is maintained to the high standards required by the School.
- Assist with any day-to-day cleaning of equipment, including dishwashers, sluice and other equipment in the wash-up area in order to ensure that it continues to function efficiently.
- Assist the rest of the team with any other tasks that need carrying out under the direction of the Weekend Chef including setting up the Dining Room and clearing away and cleaning tables and chairs.
- Assist with some basic food preparation, under the direction of the Weekend Chef.
- Assisting with food service, as directed by the Weekend Chef.
- Report any faults or problems to the Weekend Chef as soon as possible to avoid more serious situations arising, having particular regard for your own health and safety and the health and safety of other users.
Hours of work:
- Saturday 7:30 am to 2:30 pm
- Sunday 9:00 am to 1:00 pm or 2:00 pm to 7:30 pm
