Providing leadership to ensure that design control is being used to manage and mitigate the overall engineering risk.

Leading the engineering/technical design solution.

Identifying the required engineering/technical resources.

Integration of design, safety case and operational requirements.

Leading technical decision making with contributions from discipline leads.

Performing regular pre-gate reviews:

  • Understand gaps and focus areas
  • Highlight areas of concern/risk

Managing engineering plan and budget.

Provide reports to Project Manager.

To manage and deliver the basic and detailed design phases for nuclear projects within station management/resolution of technical queries, technical integration across project, running technical meetings, TR of deliverables, production of CETS to engage contractors, etc.
