Booth Welsh has an opportunity for 2 Electrical Engineers to work on a client site in North Ayrshire. This is an exciting project with contract work through to Summer 2026 and beyond.

We are looking to hire candidates that come close to matching the following technical specifications:

  • COMPEX 12 trained personnel (desired)
  • Equipment specification verification checks for equipment installed within zoned areas (in review of HAC drawings)
  • HAZI Route preparations
  • Static Earthing / Bonding checks (as per process safety standards)
  • Preparing of Electrical Work Specifications and Test Specifications
  • Kelton Maintenance Manager database update support (in relation to all E&I equipment installed in Hazardous areas)
  • Knowledge/understanding of Process Safety Standards / Electrical compliance
  • SAP trained (Maintenance transactions)
  • Electrical maintenance and project experience

Please Note: The IER / Maintenance work scope of electrical requirements has already been identified and defined for the project. The candidates will form part of a project IER / Maintenance Team and will be required to work with project Electrical design to arrange maintenance strategies of the Electrical work-streams within SAP. Minimum duration of works at present is circa 8 months, potentially longer. Working on site is required.
