Booth Welsh are looking to recruit a Graduate Engineer to work in our Nuclear team. We are ideally looking to recruit someone that has a firm interest in Engineering within the Nuclear industry. If you are a recent Graduate with an Electrical, Control Systems, or Instrumentation Engineering degree then we would like to hear from you!
The candidate will be required to have an understanding of Electrical, Control and Instrumentation and understand the basics of equipment reliability. This is a very varied role with loads of opportunity to work across different departments.
- Produce Equipment Reliability Reviews, which are used to determine the plant's safety functions, plan appropriate actions, and highlight any concerns relating to the equipment.
- Provide engineering support to station Engineers to produce documentation, review technical data, and improve the reliability of equipment.
- Complete plant walk downs with other engineering disciplines to inspect the condition of the plant and equipment.
- Identification and implementation of changes to the operation and maintenance of the power station.
- Ensure that risk is managed throughout station processes and that quality is maintained through all aspects of the engineering process.
- Ensure that Single Point Vulnerabilities on site are identified and managed correctly within Internal and Regulatory frameworks.
- Take part in Performance Monitoring and diagnostics of Air/Motor Operated Valves to ensure the smooth and continued reliability of the plant.
As part of the Equipment Reliability team, the successful candidate will report directly to and be accountable to the Engineering Group Head on site.
