About BuddyBrands: BuddyBrands is the home of BootBuddy, for people who take football seriously, and Sneaker Buddy, our lifestyle shoe cleaner. Football is the heartbeat of what we do. We tell human stories through short‐form video on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, and we move fast, react to the moment and have fun with it.
The Role: We want an all‐round content creator who is an editor first. Someone who can take a day of raw footage and turn it into a story that lands, with a real instinct for pacing, hooks and retention. This is not a desk‐only job. When the brand needs a face and a voice, you can step in front of the camera and present with confidence and personality. The role revolves around the football community. You will create across both brands, but football is the through‐line and where most of the work lives. A background in sport, ideally football, means you understand the culture instinctively and can speak the fans' language without trying too hard.
What You'll Do:
- Edit short‐form video for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube with strong hooks and tight pacing.
- Edit long‐form content too, such as YouTube videos, mini‐documentaries and event recaps.
- Turn raw footage from events and shoots into clear, engaging stories and recaps.
- Present and feature in content when the moment calls for it.
- Shoot and capture footage on location and at events.
- Develop football‐led ideas and formats, plus lifestyle content for Sneaker Buddy.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven editing skill across short and long‐form in Premiere Pro, CapCut or similar, with work to show for it.
- Confidence and natural presence on camera.
- Ability to shoot and capture quality footage on location.
- A social‐native instinct for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube trends and what makes football content perform.
- A background in sport, ideally football, and a real understanding of the football community.
- Flexibility to work some weekends and travel as required.
- Able to be in our Wandsworth office 2 to 3 days a week.
