Datasite is hiring a hands-on communications leader to help tell one of the most compelling stories in AI and fintech today. Backed by private equity and growing fast, Datasite is building a new category: secure, AI-powered M&A. A connected ecosystem that powers the full lifecycle of capital transactions, from deal sourcing and origination through deal screening, diligence, execution, and post-close. With Datasite’s acquisitions of Grata (private market data), Blueflame AI (agentic AI), and Sherpany (board reporting), Datasite is redefining how deals get done.
This role sits at the centre of Datasite’s next chapter of growth. You will help shape how the market understands a fast-scaling, PE-backed company that is unifying proprietary data, workflow automation, secure execution, and agentic AI into a single ecosystem for dealmaking.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead high-impact media engagement across key markets.
- Drive proactive media outreach, story pitching, and journalist engagement across top-tier business, financial, technology, AI, and private markets press.
- Build and deepen relationships with the reporters, editors, and influencers shaping the conversation around dealmaking, AI, and capital markets.
- Move quickly on reactive opportunities, from breaking news moments to inbound requests and executive commentary.
- Operate as a strategic connector across brands, teams, and agencies.
- Serve as liaison across Datasite and agency partners, translating business strategy into high-quality execution.
- Create clarity in a fast-moving environment by keeping campaigns, deliverables, and stakeholders aligned.
- Help scale global campaigns with smart regional activation.
- Adapt global campaigns and messaging for priority markets and audiences, ensuring relevance without losing strategic consistency.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and agencies to execute regionally resonant outreach plans that support enterprise growth.
- Connect brand-level activity to the broader corporate narrative so the full Datasite ecosystem is stronger together.
- Create the stories and content that move the market.
- Draft and refine press releases, media pitches, briefing documents, executive commentary, and other external communications with speed and precision.
- Develop thought leadership angles and contributed content that elevate Datasite’s voice in AI, fintech, dealmaking, and private markets.
- Spot timely storylines and translate complex product and market shifts into clear, differentiated narratives.
- Amplify the voice of senior leadership.
- Support executive media preparation with strong briefing materials, sharp messaging, and seamless interview coordination.
- Help build thought leadership programs across bylines, speaking opportunities, awards, and strategic visibility moments.
- Drive reporting, insights and performance tracking.
- Track performance against KPIs (e.g. coverage volume, share of voice, sentiment).
- Contribute to monthly and quarterly reporting cycles.
- Identify opportunities to increase visibility and improve outcomes.

- 8+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or agency environment.
- Proven track record of building relationships with media and securing impactful coverage across business, tech, and vertical outlets.
- Strong writing skills across press materials, pitches and executive content.
- Experience supporting B2B technology, financial services, AI or M&A-related sectors.
- AI literacy – experience with AI tools to drive productivity and effectiveness.

Work Location & Flexibility:
This position can be located remotely; however, if the candidate is based in our London location, the office follows a hybrid work model.
